Interview done Today at Federal Plaza New York City
I lost the original interview letter and went with photocopy. No one asked a single question about that. We were sent from room 8-100 which was printed on the letter to room 800 which had couples only. Our number was K4. We were the first to be called. Our interviewing officer was a female and my wife with kids was sitting all the way in the back in waiting room. I ran up to door which IO was holding to let us in. Then we went inside the interviewing room. It was an oath. She asked for original passports. I provided her with the birth certificates. She asked me to give her original desposition for the arrest happened case was dismissed in case you are curious. Then she asked few questions like name, date of birth address, if married other than this one or have other biological children. Then yes no questions and that was it. She gave a letter to say case is under review. It was disappointing but it is what it is. I asked why am I not approved on the spot and she said after 9/11 no one is approved on the spot. We thanked her and left the office. I took evidence like pictures, creditcard bills, landlord letter stating we live there. When I offered to give her pictures she said not necessary.
