I see a Lot of Folks Getting Approvals Today
As some of you know our case was an extremely difficult one because my wife entered the country over 24 years ago using a fraudulent passport that wasn't even in her name.

When my wife and I first started dating back in 2010 she was very reluctant to tell me her situation out of embarrassment and fear of me leaving her. When she finally told me everything, I was a little shocked but loved her and figured we could find a way to get her situation fixed. I asked her why she never tried to resolve the issue but she was too scared because she feared deportation and life here illegal is far better than life in the Philippines under any circumstance.

One day I was at church and the Pastor referenced as verse that has stuck me me over 6 years.

Matthew 17:20 states "if you have as tiny as mustard seed, you can move any mountain and nothing shall be impossible for you the rest of your days."

That one verse gave me the strength to convince her that God has this ad we can do this because the Bible told us so.

So in 2012 we started the process of filing our paperwork. The first thing we had to do was figure out a way to get married ( she was pregnant at this time), since the only documentation she had was Phil Passport. As luck or fate would have the Philippine Consulate was coming to Pensacola ( 3 hour drive) to renew Passports. We took a gamble and went there to see if there was anything they could do. Beyond what we expected, they issued a Passport. There are 4 states in the US that you can get married with just a Passport and Florida just happened to be one of them. Problem 1 solved.

After that we filed and I-131 alone just to see if that could get approved, 60 days later we got the approval.

This is where the work started, we needed to get a waiver for illegally being in the country handled, it took us 3 years just to get everything put together to present to USCIS to hopefully gain approval. We knew if we got the waiver handled the AOS would be just a formality.

Well we had our interview last Tuesday and we thought it went OK but were told it couldn't be approved on the spot and that is would require a lot of investigation.

I woke up this morning about 5 minutes before my alarm went off, which isn't normal. I just prayed Matthew 17:20 over and over until the alarm went off. When I turned off the alarm on my phone I noticed I had 8 text messages and thought to myself, what did I do to piss off my wife now. When she gets angry she can't sleep she texts me letting out her anger. It wasn't her...it was from USCIS telling me to check my notifications. I checked my email and I had 2 emails from USCIS. The first was the approval for the waiver and the second was the approval for the AOS.

Remember: YOU TOO CAN MOVE ANY MOUNTAIN IN YOUR LIFE AND NOTHING SHALL BE IMPOSSIBLE TO YOU THE REST OF YOUR DAYS, IF YOU HAVE AS TINY AS A MUSTARD SEED.

God is Real, God is Great and God Bless the USA

Sorry this is so long.
