Hey everyone!
Trust me I know how stressful this process is/was on all of us because the lives of our family's are typically determined by one IO at the USCIS that happens to be lucky enough to handle our case.
One thing that I've learned from this site and though experience is:
1. Be patient, I know it's hard but with the current administration the USCIS is overwhelmed so cases will take longer to process. It's not because they found problems with your application.
2. The folks that work at the immigration took their job because they support legal immigration, meaning they are on our side and want to see you approved.
3. Don't sweat the small stuff. Traffic tickets parking tickets have little to no affect on if you will get approved or not.
4. If you're applying on a marriage based application, you will be approved IF your marriage is real. The only marriage based ones I've seen turned down or an RFE was requested was when spouses lived separately for no apparent reason.
So...if your are still waiting to have an interview scheduled or nervous that you have an interview coming up soon, try your best to relax. It WILL happen for you just like it did for us.
