Today i received an email and my status updated stating;
“Request for Initial Evidence Was Mailed”
On October 20, 2017, we mailed a request for initial evidence for your Form I-485, Application to Register Permanent Residence or to Adjust Status, Receipt Number xxxxxxxx. The request for evidence explains what we need from you. We will not take action on your case until we receive the evidence or the deadline to submit it expires. Please follow the instructions in the request for evidence. If you do not receive your request for evidence by November 19, 2017, please go to www.uscis.gov/e-request to request a copy of the notice. If you move, go to www.uscis.gov/addresschange to give us your new mailing address.
Situation:
1. Last wednesday (10/18) i’d raised an SR to expedite my I-765 (have job offer), assuming that i dont have any problem or RFIE regards to my application and its been 42 something days from my Priority Date.
2. Yesterday (10/19) on the CASE HISTORY lower part of the “check my status” it says that they completed my resquest to expedite and they sent a mail or responce to my request. (So im still hoping that they want me to send them evidence of my request to expedite my I-765 and waiting for the mail around next week.)
3. Just Today, i’d sent an email to our Governor asking if he can/may call uscis and check or ask them for an update of my application. After an hour or two i’d received an email about the RFIE. (not sure if the Governor has something to do about it because after i sent an email i can’t believe that they look at my Application and notice i am missing or needing to send something.)
My question is:
1.) what am i suppose to do with my request to expedite my I-765 if in case they need me to send evidence for my request? Does RFIE affects my Request?
2.). How long does the mail of RFIE come to us?
3.). Do you have any idea on what is the usual RFIE that Uscis ask for?
Ps: PLEASE PEOPLE, someone who has the experience with RFIE, Please give me an idea on what to expect?
