Just wondering if there’s anybody from Connecticut (Hartford Office) that’s willing to share their timeline/experience, I am still waiting to know when my interview will be…

My case is in line for interview……………………………. JUNE 12/2017

I have been waiting for about 4 months for my interview notice. I know it takes time and I know it’s still relatively “early” to freak out or stress… but if anyone from this area could please share how their timeline was/is or how it normally works in this field office, I would greatly appreciate it.

Also, do you know if the interviewer will ask you about time OUTSIDE the USA BEFORE the last 5 years? I obtained my GC through my American mom in 2007 and I may have traveled to my country of origin for MORE than 6 months between 2008 and 2009 and my old passport will definitely show that. Any advice on this subject?

I am applying with 5 years of continuous residency, NEVER married, no kids and I have NO criminal record (only two speeding tickets in 2014 and 2015 both paid on time).
