Question about timeline
Hi all,

I just recently filed my AOS paperwork to USCIS and got a notification from FedEx that it was delivered today. I have been reading various forums on people's experiences with timing, interviews etc., and it really seems like timing varies so much for different people. I saw some say they got to their interview 4 months after PD, while some others had to wait for over a year. So, does anyone know what factors impact these waiting times? Also, if anyone here is from Los Angeles, could they share their experiences?

A little bit of background: I originally came to the US as F-1 student, graduated, got a job and was sponsored an H1-B by my company, which is my current status - I still have 2 years left on my H1-B. I married my boyfriend of two years in September, he is a US citizen and a US Navy veteran.

I would greatly appreciate any input!
