Sacramento Interview
Hi, my PD is Feb 14th
My wife is USC, I'm the beneficiary.
I had my interview scheduled at 10:30 AM in Sacramento Downtown field office. We arrived around 10:05, they called as in around 10:20, we were out at 10:35. Approved on the spot.
At first our IO (male in his 50s) seemed grumpy, started asking yes/no questions, where we met, asked for joint documents. We live together but my name is not on the lease (I moved into my wife's apartment), I thought it's gonna be a problem, we explained that we are in the process of looking for a house. IO then asked about pictures. We provided 2 albums, one with our photos from all our trips together, family events, etc. The other album contains pictures from both wedding (American and traditional, about 50 people on each event) We are mixed couple. I'm European, my wife is Asian.
As soon as he started explaining how conditional GC works we knew that we got approved. The whole interview took about 10 minutes.
Advice: be yourself, if your marriage is real, you have nothing to worry about.
Couple hrs after interview received text saying that "new card is being produced".
What a relief. After 15 years being out of status. End of journey.
Wish you guys all the best !!!.
