HELP!!! about I-864 affidavit of support
Hello everyone, got an RFE.
They are asking me to submit taxes documentation (Tax Tanscript) of my spouse.
The thing is my spouse is already retired for 3 years. We sent a proof of income and a proof that he didn’t owe IRS anything together with his assets (2 home ownerships, 2 car titlles, 60k worth of appliance both homes etc). I told my spouse that we need to request his tax trabscript online so we can send it back RFE asap. But he told me that he didn’t owe IRS anything so he dont have a tax return for 2016, besides he is already retired so he dont need to submit a tax return? Should i submit the same proof of income and proof that he didnt owe IRS for 2016 and make a letter stating the reason why he submitted the form/proof, notarize it and submit again the evidences and form I-864 affidavit of form?
Its getting more stressful. Both of us don’t have any idea about taxes especially about I-864. Please help.
