Update plus question on "Signature Waived" on Green card
Hi All,

Just wanted to give a further update. We received my wife's green card in the mail today! So my timeline is below.

Oct 24th 2017 -- Interview (please see my profile for a detailed interview experience); approved on spot
Oct 26th 2017 -- online status changed to "Case got approved"
Oct 30th 2017 -- Received I797 notice of approval of I485 by mail
1st Nov 2017 -- Received the 10yr green card in mail.

Its been a antsy 2 year journey (PD Sep 2015). So we are quite relieved.
Thanks a lot to the forum for answering all the questions and also for everybody's prayers and wishes. I wish everyone all the luck in their journey and their green card comes through soon!!

I have one question: my wife's green card does not have her signature (her EAD card does have her signature). It says "Signature Waived". We saw on the USCIS website that signature is waived for certain scenarios like minor children, disability or if the first entry of the person is due to an immigrant VISA obtained at a US consulate/embassy abroad. We were wondering why she doesn't have a signature and if anyone else has this on their green card. Hope this is alright and we don't have to apply for a replacement card. Can anyone give their thoughts on this? And whether "Signature Waived" affects travel and employment.

Thanks again to all.
