Greencard Holder thru Marriage
Hello again to Everyone!

For I DON'T KNOW reason, I accidentally posted my unfinished post.

Again, thank you very much for all of your helpful experiences in your greencard application. We did not hire a lawyer for all the paperwork. My husband and I helped each other with all our might. Below is the complete list of my timeline (it is all 2017):

May 27 - all applications sent to USCIS Chicago via USPS Priority Mail
May 30 - Priority Date. Case Received.
Service Center: National Benefits Center (NBC)
               Receipt is MSC
June 7 - Received mail from USCIS stating that they received our applications and payment
June 16 - Biometrics Appointment Letter scheduled for June 28
June 28 - Biometrics Done
July 3 - Case Status: Ready to be Scheduled for an Interview
July 18 - Case Status: Ready to be Scheduled for an Interview
***Yes, they notified us two times that we are ready to be scheduled***
August 28 - 90 days of waiting for EAD or work permit and still no update so I made a phone call. The
lady I talked to was very nice. She said to wait within 5 days for mail to come. If no mail
arrives, it means it is still processing.
September 13 - Case Status: EAD was mailed
September 15 - EAD card received (108 days from PD)
September 16 - EAD approval notice received (yes, the card arrived first before the notice)
October 6 - Interview notice received for November 2. The case status online still not updated.
October 18 - Case Status was updated, saying "On October 4, they scheduled my interview for
November 2 and the notice is mailed."
November 2 - Interview at 11:15 am at USCIS Chicago
                      10:45 arrived at USCIS Chicago
11:45 called for an interview (it was really busy that day so we were called later than
                                expected)
*Interview went by so fast, it lasted for about 15-20 mins*
2:00 Case Status: Name was Updated
4:00 Case Status: New Card Being Produced
November 9 - Greencard Received (exactly 7 days from the Interview Date)
4:00 pm checked website and says "Card Mailed to me on November 7"

For those of you, who are still patiently waiting, don't lose hope. Just keep waiting and you will soon have your much awaited card. I hope my timelines helps. GodBless to everyone!
