Travel With Advance Parole
Hi Pals,

Last Night I had a meeting with my attorney to ask if I could travel with the advance Parole and I was disappointing. I have read so many good experience through immihelp forums that I was really excited to be able to travel to my home country after almost 7 years in the US. I came with J1 visa in 2011 and I have no restrictions to adjust my status- however having unlawful presence in the US - 6 years overstay- is the issue that most concern my attorney and my husband. I told him I've read so many experiences thru this website but he insists that he had a client that had no problem coming back however at the date of the interview they requested a waiver to be able to adjust her status. Long Story short, He told me that the lady hasn't being able to get the waiver approved, had to go to court several times and now she is in removal proceedings... I don't know what to do... I was so excited I could travel with my advance parole but now my husband is not happy with the idea. Have you guys heard anything like that? please share ... I am so sad now... I cant wait one more year to have my interview schedule which is the waiting time in Long Island, NY.. So sad.. :"""(
