My PD 12/06/2016 NY
Scheduled for interview 08/28/2017
interview canceled 09/03/2017
Rescheduled for interview 10/07/2017
Interview 11/08/2017
Interview went well not stoke questions, it felt like a conversation, the officer was focus on explain to us what we need in 3 years to because a US citizen. After interview she didn't say I was approved instead she said bases on what we submitted she will try to make a desicion before December.however, the fact that she was so focus on me becoming a US citizen in 3 year, at least gave an idea of what to expect.
11/24/2017 received approval notice aka WELCOME TO THE UNITED STATE OF AMERICA latter on the mail, big surprise b3cause online status never changed.
11/27 /2017 checked mail box and big surprised when saw send and white envelop and the green card was inside.
Status online never changed, still shows "interview Scheduled.
NOTE: we didn't not hire a lawyer, we filled up the forms by ourselves just reading instruction and also reading the experiences posted on here. We never got RFE.
I also traveled by home on Adavce Parole and came back we no problem so if you're planning to leave the country and you have your travel document feel free to go and enjoin your time with your family back home.
