My Experience and need help!
Hi All,
My husband and I have been doing this process on our own, we are a young marriage but are hoping it doesn't count against us (married almost 3 years). We started the process for him to become a US resident this year and everything seemed to be running faster than average according to other timelines I have seen. But the latest case update has not been updated and I was starting to get concerned.
- Oct 17 2017 Case is ready for interview
We have not received an interview notice yet, does anybody know how long to receive the actual interview date from this status above?
-What kind of documents would we need for the interview and what kind of questions would they ask? My husband is adjusting from DACA to resident so he does have a steady income (we both do).
-Would it affect if I start the process of legally changing my last name while in this process? Or should I wait until he gets his green card?
