I reached the center one hour early (Big Mistake), they allow to stand in Line only 15 minutes before the given time slot, so reach accordingly as there is no place to stand or sit near the Trade center building at BKC.
I made a small mistake while filling the DS 160, my passport has my given name as my First Name and Middle Name (Father’s name in my case), and in DS 160 I entered only my First Name in the Given name category.
The person checking the form asked me to change it.
There is a Cyber café in the same building, they will charge you RS 150 to make the change, they will charge additional RS 100 if you want their help in making changes to DS 160 form.
So, my DS 160 number got changed, but nothing to worry
Notify the people at the Biometric center, and they will make the necessary changes
Visa Interview: 11/14/2017 at 9:00 AM
I reached the center at 7:45, and the line for the 9:00 AM slot had already started
Below is how my interview went
VO: Good morning Sir, how are you?
Me: Good morning officer, I am good, how are you?
VO: I am good, Passport and I-797 please
VO: Is this a renewal or Fresh H1
Me: Renewal
VO: who is the Employer?
Me: Answered
VO: How many years of experience you have with this employer, and how many total IT experience?
Me: Answered
VO: What is your Job title?
Me: Answered
VO: Highest degree of Qualification?
Me: Answered
VO: Do you have an End Client?
Me: Yes, answered the name of the client
VO: What is your salary?
Me: Answered
VO: Where will you be working?
Me: Answered
VO: Your visa has been approved
Me: Thanked him and left
Next day, 11/14/2017 got email from the embassy to pick up my passport.
Port of Entry: (Newark)
Only one question asked
