I had my Visa interview on 6th Dec at Hyderabad consulate. Below is my experience.
Can I see your passport?

Can I see your i797?
Passed it
Who do you work for ?

Is it a consulting firm?
Yes
How many employees do they have?

Do you work for a client ?
Yes, I work for YYYY
Do you have your client letter?
Yes and I passed it on [it's an email from manager saying they don't issue client letters]
What's your highest degree?
Masters in computer science
Can I see your latest pay stubs?
I passed them on
Does your employer pay you on time?
Yes
Then the consular said that we will have to do some administrative processing on educational background and that it might take one to two weeks. I can't make a decision yet. I'm going to retain your passport You will receive an email from us in case we need any additional documents. CEAC shows AP.
I have seen previous posts with similar experiences. It's a waiting game now.
