Portland field office AOS interview experience: Employment based
GC application was employment based.

Timeline 2017:
Apr 20: I-140 approval
May 25: AOS receipt notice
July 26: Biometrics appointment
September 9: Received EAD+AP in mail
November 2: Interview is scheduled
December 6: Interview

Interview was very straightforward. It went like this:
 - Are you still working at your current employer? Do you have a recent employment verification letter?
 - Then she went through all the yes/no questions in the AOS application. "Are you a communist?", "Are you a drug dealer?", "Are you a terrorist?" etc etc
 - That's it! I will approve your Green Card. You should receive it in the mail in 2 weeks.

Like I said; the interview was very straightforward.

Good luck to all.
