Where is the Alien Registration Number?
I just received a rejection of my N400 application citing that my Alien Registration Number (A-number) is not valid, and that I can not use the employment authorization document A-number.
But, the Alien Registration Number I used is the A# on my greencard (which was issued in 2009), and it is the same number as in my expired-since-2010 EAD card. Soooo, my questions:
Has this happened to anyone else?
Where do I find my valid Alien Registration Number?
I have not been able to speak with anyone at USCIS, of course.
Any ideas on where to find the right information?
