Status as of 8 Dec 11 pm IST- “Admin Processing” updated on 30 Nov
This is the first time we are using the Dropbox interview waiver system. The rep said that our passports will be returned in 3-4 Days. Since 27 Nov our passport/visa status is “Admin Processing” last updated on 30 November 2017. Someone in this forum has posted that there has been a systems issue at the US Dept of State due to which their operations have been affected worldwide causing delays in visa issuance. While this is true, our flight to the US is on 16 Dec. Yes, we are stressed out..I have called up at the 24x7 IVR, sent emails but it’s the same status reply everywhere.
I know that a lot of people are in the same situation as we are. So please post your experiences so we know what’s going on and hopefully be able to estimate the arrival time of our passports accordingly. Thanks!
