Hello,
I am filing from NYC, marriage-based green card, I am Canadian and my petition was received by MSC.
PD: February 8th, 2017
Biometrics: March 22nd
Received EAD: May 5th
Until now nothing, no updates, has not changed to say "interview ready to be scheduled", I know that it takes about a year and I will probably not get called for an interview until Feb 2018 or March 2018. But is there anyone I can call to check up on my case status? My lawyer is saying I should renew my EAD but it is going to be a $1000 (their fees) and I want to play it safe, but I would rather not have to pay $1000 if im going to get an interview in February.
