Hello everyone,
Im gonna be sharing my case. I am really happy, but concerned at the same time because by case went through really fast.
This is a marriage base green-card case, I am filing from Oklahoma City. I filed my case (I-485, I-130, and I-765) last August,my priority date is August 29th, 2017. I got my receipt two weeks after indicating that my case was in Missouri Service Center MSC, around September 15th and did my biometrics September 27th. On October, I got a RFE asking for some documents regarding my sponsor. I gathered what they asked for and sent it off by the beginning of November. The weird thing happens next. I thought that the work permit would come in in the first 90 days, and that the case was supposed to be sent off to Nebraska, Texas, California centers to be processed and after 6 - 9 months average I would get my NOA2 and then the interview would come. But instead, I got my "Initial Interview Notice" for next month , January 2018 here at OKC. It's been 4 months since I applied, I am happy that it was fast but I have read a lot of other people's cases and they all took a lot more time, so why did mine took so little time? I keep checking online for my case status bu it only appears that the RFE was sent in September, noting about my interview.
Also, is it normal that I never got my I-130 approval notice or NOA2? and that my case was all handled in Missouri Service Center (MSC)
