H1B dropbox renewal in AP since Nov end (Mumbai consulate)
I used dropbox for H1B stamping in mid Nov (4th year and same company as prev stamp, fortune 500 company and direct hire)
They gave me a 221g only for fingerprint
Here is my timeline
30th Nov - Provided Fingerprint
30th Nov - Admin processing
15th Dec - Last update date changed, but still admin processing
Its 20th Dec today. They havent contacted back asking for any paperwork or interview. This seems very unusual. I know a few people who went with /after me who have gotten their passport stamped sooner.
Tried emailing ustraveldocs and usual advice to wait.
What are the alternatives I can do in the mean time?
Is it possible to attend interview if docs are submitted via dropbox?
If my lawyer/employer emails them instead of me, does that hold more weight?
Any advice is appreciated
