We had our interview 12-7-17, we applied on April 23, 2017.
Received permanent residency on 12-13-17
Our interview lasted about 20 minutes. My wife was nervous and messed up my name when asked what my full name is. My name does consist of four names. Other than that it went well the agent seemed like he had made a decision beforehand more than likely because we had so much back history documents such as cohabitation receipts, insurance together, we even own a car together and share a bank account.. not to mention we currently lived with her parents. And although we didn’t need to bring anymore evidence to the interview we brought many pictures of our life together from years ago. So although she messed up something pretty major, the guy had probably already made his decision based on our history together, which may be the reason the interview was so short. We were nervous but received the acceptance letter in less than a month, along with my permanent residency card in the same day but in a separate package later in the day.
