EAD with L2 visa
Hi everyone,

I am hoping you can give me some advice!

This is my second time applying for an EAD. Last year, it took about 6-8 weeks to arrive, this year I am now sitting on day 90. I called USCIS and was told that because I raised a service request at day 75 (which just told me I was in a line of applicants) I can no longer raise one at day 90 and have to wait another 15 days.

My EAD expired on the 30th November so I have been out of work since then as I am not eligible for the extension. My employer is keeping my job open for me but I really don't know how long they will wait. This is incredibly frustrating!

Is there anything else that I can do in the meantime? Is it worth contacting my congressman (I have no idea how to do this!) or should I just make an appointment at my local USCIS office and try and get information out of them?

I'm filing from MD so I am being processed by Vermont, received date was Oct 5th.

Thank you for any advice!
