Hello All,

Happy New Year
This year is a great start for me because today I received my green card in mail and I’m so happy. I have waited for 8 months and finally got it. I just want to thank you to all because you guys really helped me a lot because of your experiences that I have read. And those who are still waiting for their interview, I just want to tell to those people that be patience because patience is the key to success.

But I would like to share my experience with you guys. It was a marriage based with US citizen. I live Pennsylvania and the field office was in Philadelphia. It took me 8 months for this whole process.
My wife is a US Citizen.

Marriage based green card/ US Citizen
Living in Pennsylvania
Filed in April 24th 2017
Biometric Appointment in May 2017
EAD in October 2017
Interview Notice - 20th November 2017
Interview date - 20th December 2017
Approval Notice - 3rd January 2018
Green Card in Hand - 4th January 2018

We had all of our documents ready like bank statements, phone bill, lease agreement, flight tickets, car title, employment letter, our wedding and trips pictures, birth certificate, passport, mine and my wife’s pay stubs, car insurance, and etc....

For our interview we came very prepared ( dressed in suit and shirt too) with all the necessary documents that we had. My wife was very nervous. We arrived there 30 mins early and waited for 30 mins to get our name called. When we went inside the officer told us to sit down and she started to check all the documents and she checked it for like 10 mins and we were waiting for her to ask the questions but after she checked all the documents, she took my picture and my fingerprints and after like 5 mins she said we’re approved and we will receive our green card in 2 weeks in mail. I was shocked and happy that she didn’t ask any questions to me and to my wife whose is a US Citizen. But thank god it was all done.

It was really stressful for few months but it was all worth it. So Just be patience and pray to god. Everything will be alright.

I hope this help you guys the same way this place helped me out and wish you all the best in your process and Happy New Year.
