75 days and still waiting
Hello everyone,
Actually i found this forum is really useful so i wanted to share my experience and ask some questions
I had a B1/B2 visa then applied for adjustment of status via marriage
October 16 , we filed i-485, i-130, i-765 with the proper documents (plus affidavit of support and the medical exam)
I got the receipts (I 797 notice of action) on October 20, there was a mistake in my birthday but on the i130 receipt ! We called them to be corrected.
On October 27th we got a notice of Action (a fingersprints appointment) which was on November 16th
Since that date we didn’t have any updates, today is the 75th day from the receipt of the forms specially the i765 !
Do you think i should send an inquiry ? What’s about contacting the Congress man that people are talking about !? Amd how to do it ? We have another mailing adress which is an adress from UPS similar to PO box ! I saw people talking about if the mailing box doesn’t have your name !! You think it will be a problem ??? We are two men ! You think because it’s a gay marriage ?! And uh, my uncle died recently so actually i found necessary to file for a travel document in case of emergency, i filed it on December 22 ! I got the receipt.. and for other forms nothing is changed on the website, everything is still dated on Oct,20 !!
I am doing an internship and the boss likes my work and want to hire me, my internship finishes soom, and i don’t want to loose this opportunity !
