H1B extension - Admin Processing
Hi All,
2nd Jan: Dropped off documents at Ahmedabad VFS
3rd Jan: Passport is with Consulate (Mumbai)
same status
8th Jan: Checked CEAC which was updated on 8th Jan itself and indicated "Administrative Processing"
I am working with a Big 4 and last year was in India was stamping around the same time when I received my passport back in 2-3 days. I've my tickets booked for 11th Jan and am not sure how long I should wait before rescheduling and information Partners and clients about the situation.
My guess is that admin processing is probably because my last stamp had expired in Nov but I had an approved petition. With that, I am hopeful.
Any input?
