I am filing all AOS documents including EAD/AP application this week. This should give USCIS 120 days to process my EAD (OPT EAD expiring in May). My first main concern is the EAD since I will have to quit my job and ACTUALLY suffer financial loss. I have a mortgage, car payment and student loans among many other bills. My husband (USC) is currently working part time and finishing school.
1. How fast should I contact my congressman to expedite EAD?
2. Do I have a strong case for expediting?
