Hello guys.
With a priority day of April 21, 2017, I was notified for my interview a week ago (Kendall FL). However I have a question.
I am the alien and my wife is the US citizen. I submitted my birth certificate at the application however the paper in the notice says that both birth certificates are required. My wife, even though she is a US citizen, she was born in Belgium, and it isn't that easy to get her birth certificate. We have proof of her US citizenship (passport and naturalization certificate), so I wonder why they need her birth certificate as well.
Is it going to be a problem if we go to the interview without her birth certificate? I appreciate your time.
