Wichita Filer Experience [c(9)] Category
Hi everyone, I've been reading this forum for sometime, checking up on peoples experiences and progress. I just thought I'd post mine.

I was an F1 student and graduated in May 2016. I found a job in my field Oct 2016 under OPT. My fiancee (at the time) graduated May 2017. We got married June 2017. Below is my timeline for the AOS process:

07/17/2017 - Documents sent (i-485, i-130, i-765, i-131)
07/18/2017 - Documents received. PD.
07/24/2017 - Checks cashed
08/02/2017 - Online status changed to case was received for i-130, i-765, and i-131. i-485 status
states that "Fingerprint fee was received on 7/24/2017."
08/18/2017 - Biometrics Appt.
10/05/2017 - Raised 1st SR for i-765 (79th day) - No response
10/19/2017 - Raised 2nd SR for i-765 (93rd day) - No response
10/31/2017 - Raised 3rd SR for i-765 (105th day)
11/01/2017 - 3rd SR was assigned to an officer. Response: Application is currently under review.
12/14/2017 - Raised 4th SR for i-765 (147th day)
12/28/2017 - Response for 4th SR: Application is currently under review.
12/28/2017 - Letter was mailed out from USCIS concerning interview date (Feb 13th 2018.)
12/30/2017 - Letter supposed to reach, but did not. I received an Informed Delivery notification about
a letter. Checked mailbox the next few days but it never came. Called USCIS and found
out that it was the letter for my interview date. They said they could fax it to me about 6
                     days before my interview.

Today is 1/12/2018, which is day 178 since my PD and there is still no EAD or AP. It seems that NBC is SUPER backed up. My online status has never changed and its still stuck to what it was on 08/02/2017 (Case was received and Fingerprint fee was received.)

On another note, I would really recommend everyone signing up for Informed Delivery with USPS. It takes a photo of mail that you are going to receive the morning that they are planning to deliver it to your mailbox. It helped me know that I was supposed receive mail and helped me find out my interview date. This was important to me, since my online status has not changed at all and I would not have found out about anything and could even miss my interview next month.
