My adjustment of status has come to an end today as I have received my GC. This forum was a great source of comfort during this long, anxious wait. I just wanted to thank everyone and share my timeline for your reference. My field office has been Newark, NJ.

Interview date 01/09/2018, approved on the spot.
GC received 01/17/2018
Two notes: 1) My online status didn't change at some of these stages. My mailbox was my best friend through this process.
2) I used my AP to go to my home country. I had no issues coming back, I just had to go to the second inspection to do fingerprints. No questions asked.
