Long Processing time
Hi guys,

I am a little bit frustrated and emotionally exhausted to be honest :) So here's our story:

I got married in NY and filed our documents in October of 2016, we had an interview which wasn't that smooth I would say cause we had a tough week and besides were extremely nervous, but overall it wasn't perfect but it was fine and at the end, officer gave us letter saying she needs more time for a final decision (up to 120 days), which is fine but, we had interview in September of 2017, I checked processing time on their website they are on Jan 2017 cases.

The biggest problem is my EAD, for some stupid reason I didn't know that it was about to expire this Saturday and besides to be honest we thought we gonna receive GC before my EAD expires.

Right now whats happening is, I'm about to loose my job, cause I sent them over renew form like week ago and it's gonna take a while! will try to expedite. Does anybody knows do the photos required ? under category c9, I sent renew form, my old EAD copy both sides and i-485 Pending letter from USCIS.

I called USCIS and did service request and guess what?! they replied ! Got an email saying so in details the main reason and in general whats good, I'm gonna copy-paste their message to make sure you'll get it :)
"USCIS has reviewed your Service Request. According to USCIS records, your case is currently pending. We apologize for the inconvenience."

MMmmmmm, LOVE IT! :) your case is currently pending, pfff WHATS? NO WAY!!! :) I didn't know that

It didn't helped so I did INFOPASS for next Monday, but I dont really think it gonna help.

Anyway, we're trying to stay positive but it takes forever and a lot of nervous. Anybody had the same experience and what should we do ?! :/

Timeline:
October 2016 - Filed documents
January 2017 - Received EAD
September 2017 - Interview

Thanks in advance.
