Adjustment of Status - I-485

I submitted i485, i131 and i 765 on 08/31/2017. I waited 75 days for i131 and submitted case inquiry and after 90 days i did the same for EAD, after 30 days i didn't receive any news from my case inquiries, on the website it says "has not been assigned for processing", so i called uscis and submitted another case inquiry for travel document and of course they didn't have any updates for me.
So i decided to send request to congressman and senator, and also to uscis ombudsman office.
Congressman's office never even answered me back....waste of time!!!!
Senator's office answered me right away and tried to figure out the whole story of my struggles.
For Ombudsman office it took about 2 weeks. They sent me letter that my EAD and travel document were approved. And in approximately 1 week i received my card!
I already traveled with combo card and didn't have any problems to come back.
Now waiting for the green card....Heard that it gonna take about a year to get it....
Any thoughts?
