after that it was just silent. no interview notice nothing.
10/06/2017 yes, a year after we finally got the interview notice for 11/14/2017
10/30/2017 INTERVIEW CANCELED DUE TO UNFORESEEN CIRCUMSTANCES!!!!
we were so disappointed because we were going to travel for holidays. since i didn't apply for a travel document (i thought we were going to get the interview after 6-8 moths) it was just sad. i called my lawyer, she explained that due to harvey the houston field office is overbooked and i should be getting a new one anytime soon.
12/24/2017 new interview notice was received
01/18/2017 INTERVIEW DATE.

we were a little bit frustrated because due to WEATHER the houston field office WAS CLOSED FOR TWO DAYS!!!!
so our interview time was at 1.45. we arrived there around 1.10 pm. make sure u park by the entrance, we were walking and looking for the office for about 10 min. and it was freezing outside!

we went through the security check up, checked in and they told to have a seat and that they would call our names. by the way u can bring your cell phones in, i didnt know. we waited about an hour and were called at 2.45. we were greeted by a nice lady and she said we have another officer in the room who will be in present. we got in she asked us to raise our hands and swear to tell the truth. we sat, and she opened our file and asked if we want to add anymore papers into the folder. we gave her our new lease, rental agreement, phone bills, electricity bills, move out statement from previous place we lived at, bank statements. she started asking my husband questions first. she asked for my name to spell it, my date of birth, place of birth. aaaand my parents name... and my husband forgot my mom's name because my relatives are overseas and he hasnt met her yet (we planing to do the wedding overseas). she asked him if she doesn't remember her name how does he call her, he said mom, i call her a mom =) then he asked for our address and where we lived before and where i lived when we first met. she asked me the same questions. then she went over our application questions about crimes and blah blah blah. she also asked me when was the last time i entered us, and if i left every since. then she asked about first date, proposal. SHE ASKED IF I EVER WAS ARRESTED I SAID YES (It was a stupid mistake, not a big deal), she said that on my application i put no, she asked if i have any documentation from that day she made a copy of it. she made copies of our DEBIT CREDIT CARDS, BIRTHS CERTIFICATES, PASSPORTS. she didnt ask us for any pictures (i spent the whole night putting them together). but overall the interview went well, we laughed, my husband was telling jokes. i was shaking im not sure if it was from cold or i was just a little stressed. we think that the interview went well, she gave us a paper saying that she cant make the decision right now and we will have to wait for the final decision in mail... so who knows when =((( my ead is expired, i asked her if i should renew it she said just to wait, because ead takes 6 months to get renewed.

SO YES, TEXAS PROCESSING TIME IS SOMETHING ELSE. I WILL KEEP YOU GUYS POSTED IF I GET MY APPROVALS ANYTIME SOON =) WAITING KILLS...
