Received Approval Letter in mail for I-130 Application
Hello Everyone,
Just received approval letter in the mail for I-130 application. Is anybody here had has same experience or knows what's that mean? the reason why i'm asking it is because we haven't done our I-485 AOS interview yet, or even been scheduled for an interview, can you please share you experience this process is making insane. Will really appreciate your answer. Thanks to all
Here is my timeline:
Marriage based GC , Spouse USC / PD: April 20, 2017 / Hialeah Field Office
- I-130, I-485 Applications sent to USCIS April 17, 2017
- PD: April 20, 2017
- Bio: June 21, 2017
- 1st RFE: June 16, 2017 (RFE was for Birth Certificate & I-864)
- Response to FRE: July 05, 2017
- Applied for EAD: July 07, 2017 (Application rejected Wrong fee)
- 1st SR: Aug.03, 2017 (about I-485 and EAD rejection)
- Re-Applied for EAD: Sept.19, 2017 (case accepted)
- RFAE: Sept.29, 2017 (for IRS doc of Joint sponsor)
- Response to RFAE: Sept.30, 2017
- Went on Info pass: Oct.19, 2017 (according to IO, my I-485 case is ready to be schedule for interview since Oct.17,2017, But status online stuck on “Response to RFE received & Under Review)
- On Nov.02, 2017 request expedite of my EAD case.
- On Nov.06 USCIS asked for Job offer letter as Proof.
- Sent job offer letter along with contract on December 29, 2017
- On Jan.03, 2018 Contacted Congresswoman office of the 24th District of Florida for help on EAD case (my tip for you if you live in that district don’t even bother going there I didn’t receive any answer from them sin then it’s been more than 15 days)
- On Jan.19, 2018 Contacted Senator Office
- On Jan.20, 2018 Contacted Ombudsman
Now I’m waiting to see if the Senator office or the Ombudsman can help me, cause I’m in the risk of losing a great job if I don’t have that EAD no later than the 1st week of February
