Hi,
I have been reading this forum since last year for guidance on my case. I thought of filing myself but my husband and I thought it was best to hire an attorney to help since my case is a bit tricky. I would like to share my timeline for far and would like to know if anyone has a similar case. I have a few questions to ask about the 245-i evidence portion.
ABOUT ME:
- I'm a DACA recipient (3xs) will expire in 01/2019. Mexican citizen. EWI.
- I'm happily married to a US citizen
- Grandfathered through 245-i due to my uncle (US Citizen) filing an I-130 petition for my father back in March 2001. Father's application was approved back in April 13, 2001. He's still waiting for a visa to be available.
TIMELINE:
- AOS package: I-130, 1-130A, 245-i, 1-485, I-765, I-864 sent on 12/27/17
- AOS packaged received on 1/2/18
- Biometrics appointment scheduled for 1/24/17 Fort Worth, TX office
I will update my timeline periodically in hopes that it helps anyone with a similar case.

1) a petition was approved/filed for principal beneficiary (father) on or before April 2001
2) the principal beneficiary was present on December 2000
