Unfair treatment
I'd like to share my experience with everyone who is still waiting here for his/her EAD.
I think people need to know that there is unfairness to the process for a lot of people.

Marriage based (US citizen)
PD: September 21st (case received NBC)
Biometric: October 5th
1st SR: December 1st
2nd SR December 29th
Still waiting for the EAD 126 DAYS !!!

Both SRs weren't answered so called the customer service yesterday and asked about my case, the guy told me that both SRs are still pending which means that my case is still pending (after 125 days!). He transferred my call to an officer, the officer said that the "90-day timeline" is not the standard timeline anymore and his "educated guess" is that I have to wait another 3-5 months because the officers are working on June 30th cases now. I asked what is the new timeline then if 90 days isn't, and the answer was and I quote "depends on the officer that has the case."

I have contacted my lawyer and he told my that from this year, he has noticed that applications from certain places are taking way longer than the expected time, specially the middle east (how surprising). Unfortunately just because my name is Mohammed, my EAD card is going to take longer
I am an educated man with a PHD degree and a family to take care of, I am eager to start supporting my family and apply the knowledge I have for this country.

I not a complainer, but waiting for 6-9 months to get the EAD only is ridiculous !

I have contacted the Ombudsman and congressman because I feel that I am being discriminated against and they are now enquiring about my case and the reason for the delay.

People who are waiting for longer than the processing time should start contacting the Ombudsman or the Congress representative in your area, otherwise you will be waiting for way longer time until the office feels like looking into your case.
