E3 EAD Renewal
Hey there everyone,

First of all i want to thank you for sharing all your experiences, both good and bad. This forum has become my main hub of information when it comes to dealing with these EAD delays & it has helped me out immensely in dealing with the stress of waiting for my wife's EAD renewal.

So here's my timeline:

Oct 19th 2017 - Mailed wife's I-765/EAD Renewal in, to be received by the California Service Center
Oct 25th 2017 - Application was received by USCIS
Oct 30th 2017 - Notice of receipt arrived via mail.
Jan 24th 2017 - 1st Service Request raised via USCIS website
Jan 27th 2017 - 1st Service Request answered by USCIS - who say that application is still within normal
processing time & that CSC is currently only processing applications from August 1st.

I am confused by the answer to the service request stating that it is still within the normal times for processing this application. It's currently 102-days waiting for her renewal to be processed, and i was of the belief that once it went outside 90-days waiting, that would be considered outside the normal processing times. Can someone please confirm this for me?

I am wondering what our next best course of action should be - does anyone think it would be worthwhile contacting our congresswoman and asking them to assist us with contacting USCIS for an update? My wife's current EAD is due to expire soon & she currently has a great job with a fantastic company that she doesn't want to lose, due to waiting for this EAD renewal to be processed. So i want to do everything in my power to avoid this from happening.

Is it best to contact our congresswoman or our should i contact the ombudsman? If anyone has any advice on this, it would be very very much appreciated.

Trying not to lose my mind here.

Thanks in advance.
