Green card by marriage interview
Dear all,
We had our marriage based green card interview today in Charleston SC. The interview went very well and we answered all relevant questions from the I-130 and I-485 forms. At the end of the interview the officer told us that he is recommending our petition for approval and approved the I-130. I have been following many threads here and other places where the people were getting confirmation of approval within a few hours and then there are some cases where it has not been approved for months. I am getting nervous as to what to expect as I haven't even received my EAD yet, when I asked about the EAD the officer said since the field office got the file earlier I maybe not getting the EAD at all. I have a job offer and cannot take it until either my EAD or my GC is approved. Has anyone gone through such problems. Could you please share what to expect?
