How safe is to travel with EAD combo?
Hi everyone! Thanks all of you for sharing your experiences as they are very helpful! Here is my story;
Came to US on 2013 with a F1 student visa.
Married my husband who is a Green Card holder back in August 2015, I have waited 2 years until a visa was available for me and in July 2017 I have applied for adjustment of status and EAD combo card. The NBC Center received all the files on July 17 exactly.After 188 days of waiting I received my EAD combo card.
So my questions are: how safe is to travel with this EAD advanced parole card? There are any risks? I can mention that I never been out of status maintaining all this time my F1 student visa and I was working under CPT and OPT until now when I received my EAD card. We want to travel back in our home country to visit our families and i want to know if there any risks??? Also in the day when my I 765 was approved the online status for the i 485 changed as well in:”your case is ready to be scheduled for an interview “ 20 days ago! Does anyone know how long will it take form this point to get the green card interview? There is any timeline for this since my status changed? Please share is you had a similar experience or advise! Any details or information will be helpful! Thanks all in advance for your help!
