For anybody who is trying to renew their EAD, here is my experience with it in NY:
EAD expiring on January 23rd of this month.
January 18th Mailed paperwork (overnight)
January 19th Paperwork received
January 30th Extension letter received
Still no news after the interview which took place on September 21st, 2016....
