L2 EAD Renewal
11/17/2017 - Case Received
01/11/2018 - request for expedite
01/16/2018 - USCIS sent me an email asking for detailed letter explaining why my case qualifies for expedited handling.

**I got really busy at work in between so only responded to them after 2 weeks.

01/31/2018 - Faxed my letter and all supporting documents.
02/02/2018 - called them to follow up but officer won't transfer me and told me I need to wait.

02/05/2018 - called them again today. I insisted to talk to L2 officer as my EAD is expiring next week 02/16. they transferred me.. L2 officer told me that my application was approved 01/31 and the receipt notice was mailed out 02/01.

my case status online still shows "case received 11/17/17. Not sure how long it will take but hopefully everything will work out before my card expiration.
