B1/B2 Experience - Parents - Karachi
First of all many thanks to 'immihelp' members, its been a great source of help preparing for interview.
My parents have had their interview at Karachi Consulate yesterday 8th Feb. VO only asked following questions to my dad & didn't utter a word to my mom. (VO spoke with them in Urdu language through out)

VO: Who's this lady with you?
Ans: My wife

VO: Passports please!
Ans: Provided

VO: I see you have put the address of Baluchistan, where do you actually live? (That was perhaps to trick my dad to see if he fumbles)
Ans: Baluchistan address is my work place address, I live in xyz area in Karachi.

VO: Why do you want to go to USA?
Ans: To meet my relatives and tourism purpose. (Here my dad added further which kinda endorsed his case) We are already going to Canada to visit our son & this will be a good opportunity for us to visit our relatives in USA as travelling to US is easier from Canada.

VO: Do you have visa for Canada?
Ans: Yes. (VO checked the passport for visa page)

VO: What does your son do in Canada?
Ans: He works as xyz in abc company

VO: How many children you have?
Ans: x children in Khi,Pak and x in Canada.

VO: What profession you are/were into?
Ans: I have worked as XYZ in different positions in cement industry. My recent contract was with ABC company which got over last month. Right now I'm not employed anywhere.

VO: Are you looking to work since your last contract is over?
Ans: No, I'hv taken a break this year as I am going to visit my son this summers so I'd give time to family before I start working again.

VO: Okay, your visa is approved (Thank God for these golden words) you may receive your passports in a couple days.

The key is to remain truthful, confident and keep it simple.
