GC Road trip 2017-2018
January 9, 2017 forms (I-485, I-130, I-131, I-765) were sent to USCIS from lawyer office
January 10 forms received by USCIS
January 24 checks were cashed
January 27 lawyer office received receipt notices
January 31 Receipt notices copies received by mail (National Benefit Center)
February 6 Biometric appointment notice received in the mail.
February 13 Biometric appointment taken
April 11 Electronic notification of EAD approval received.
April 19 Mailed notification of EAD/AP approval combo received
April 20 Electronic notification of EAD card being mailed.
April 22 Received EAD/AP combo card (although form I-131 still appears online as 'case was received’)
January 17, 2018 (372 days since initial filing) Received lawyer office notification of scheduled interview for Feb 1. Personal mail notification arrived the following day. (USCIS electronic profile remained outdated). Needed to renew my expired sealed medical exam form (I-693).
February 1, 2018, 7:30 am (387 days) USCIS Denver field office interview — The interview went very well and only lasted for about 15 minutes. The officer said she will most likely approve the application the same afternoon.
February 1, 2018, 8:30 am: Received an electronic notification of a new card being produced for my I-485 application
February 6, 2018, Received mail notification of approval notice for my AOS, I-485 application — the WELCOME TO THE UNITED STATED OF AMERICA letter.
February 8, 2018 (394 days later) received GC in the mail

* USCIS processing times are outdated and not very useful. They become more accurate the closer you get to receive your interview notice
* Traveled outside the US while process was pending with stamp visa and AP (only use visa at the time of entry)
