Vancouver H1B Visa stamping Administrative Processing
Hello All,
I had gone for H1B visa stamping in Vancouver on Jan 18th. They asked me for my resume which i didnt have at that time, so I emailed it to them right away after the interview. They had given a yellow slip with the emailid. The status has been administrative processing since then. Does anyone know how long it takes for the administrative processing to be complete? I have checked with them and they said its done electronically so have no control over it and it could take from 60-150 days which is crazy!
This was my second stamping. First i had gotten approved in Mumbai in Jan 2017. It was valid till Oct, 2017 since my H1 had started in Sept 2014. In Sept, 2017 i changed jobs and had gotten new I-797 which is what i had brought to the consulate.
