Need help - b2 rejected under 214b - Indian student
Hello forum members. I am a college senior (final year) and applied for a B2 visa in Kolkata. I want to attend the engagement of a close family friend in the US. The interview went as follows:

VO: Why do you want to go to the US?
Me: The primary purpose is to attend the engagement of a very close family friend and the secondary purpose is some sight seeing around New York.

VO: How old are you?
Me: 22

VO: Whats your profession.
Me: I'm a college senior.

VO: What do you study?
Me: Design

VO: Have you ever traveled to any other country?
Me: Yes, Austria.

VO: Why?
Me: I was the finalist of the UX World Championship.

VO: Of what? (She maybe didn't hear UX and thought that I only said world championship and therefore she asked 'of what')
Me: umm.. of Usability congress summit!? (This is the conference under which that Championship is held)

VO: OF WHAT?
Me: Of UX world championship!!!?

VO: What is UX?
Me: User Experience Design, the thing that I am studying.

VO: How long would (I heard 'did') you stay?
Me: (rechecking) how long did I stay in Austria??

VO: How long would you stay IN THE US?
Me: 2 weeks.

She then refused and gave me my passport and 214b letter, never asking for ANY documents.
She never asked me any question about returning back. I have very strong reasons to come back. I have to take my last semester final exams so that I can graduate. Also, I have a full time job offer already from one of the biggest tech companies in the world (job posting will be in India). But I never got a chance to say all this. No questions about sponsorship also.
Also, my permanent address in the application was of my college. This was a mistake from my side. I want to reapply asap. Do I have another chance? If yes then How do I (and how soon should I - 1 day, 1 week, 2 weeks) reapply again to be successful?
