Hi everyone and dallas filler,
I am in the process of putting together my documents so I am file my adjustment of status through marriage. I am the beneficiary and my husband is the usa citizen. The issue now is lease. My husband sometimes had an unpaid eviction years back when he was young, Now we are having issues with apartment adding him to the lease and they said since he is already above 18, they cant add him as an occupant, he will also have to be signed on the lease. Currently, i have just my name on the lease and I am freaking out as I know joint lease is an important document. Please guys what do you advice. I am yet to file my papers but these are the documents we have for now
