RFE for updated medical
Hello fellow members of this forum,
I asked few days ago about how long it usually takes after receiving an RFE for expired medical exam to get a decision. Only received one answer saying about a month. I was hoping to compare cases but since I didn’t get many answers I did some research. For people wondering as well, it seems that if RFE is received before the interview it tends to delay the case few months. If you already had your interview and your RFE Came as a result of an expired medical exam, the average wait is between a week to a Month. There are people that got approved after 3 days only. If before the interview it says on the USCIS website that it resets the clock, so if you are about to have an interview and think your medical will expire by then, I advise you to make another one and take it to the interview. Otherwise just double check your application before sending it because you do not want to get an RFE for a birth certificate, G325, affidavit of support or other documents, that will certainly delay your case further.
