Visitor Visa - B2

Hello forum,
I am an avid reader of the forum and have taken many useful leads from this forum before applying for my US visa. I believe in DIY and hence study the subject and get about it. I am on L1B in the US for 8 months now and before I applied for my visa, I researched and then went for the interview in Chennai.
I want to bring my father aged 72 to the US and take care of him though he is not interested and he does not want to be a burden on anyone. After through research I filled his application and applied July last, I was sure that he would get the visa. He was refused 214b.

I took appointment again on 7th of January. This time he got interested in applying again because he felt he was unduly denied the visa. He took the suggestion of a family friend and sought the help of an immigration consultant by the name of visavikings.
