Prenup?
Guys, I just read an article about how a prenup contract can affect the USCIS descision; basically that they would get suspisious and it would act as a red flag. There is no law against it, obviously, but it is supposedly not recommended for the marriage-based immigration. Do any of you guys have a prenup contract with their spouse? When we got married a year and a half ago, my husband insisted on one just because he is to inherit some savings and property from his mom (who lives in another country) who, I assume, did not want me to get any of her assets (not that I would ever demand it anyway). Now that I have been waiting 6 months after the interview, I wonder if that can be a red flag for them. I never thought of it back when we got married, I even understood his and his mom's concerns, because if I was to inherit something, I would probably do the same. Can you share your opinion or experience?
