12/28/2017 - Letter was mailed out from USCIS (I found out on USPS Informed Delivery)
Letter never came. Called and spoke to L2 officer and found out it was my interview notice.
Interview was set for Feb 13. Tried for a month to get it, never could get it from USCIS.
They would only fax it to me 5 days before the actual interview.
01/17/2018 - Reach out to congressman about i-765 delay and also i-485 interview letter.
01/25/2018 - Found out my i-765 was approved.
01/29/2018 - Congressman lets me know my i-765 case was approved. They managed to get it
expedited! They also managed to get my i-485 interview notice!!
01/31/2018 - Received EAD. (190th day!)
02/13/2018 - Went for interview. Was straight forward. Interview officer was a really nice lady! She
started asking my wife questions first. My wife got nervous and messed up our wedding
date. Haha. Interviewing officer could see that my wife was stressed out though. Rest of
interview went really well. Only lasted about 30 mins. It was mostly going over forms. She
then asked her my parents name. Asked me her parents name. Asked me her birth date.
Then proceeded to ask for evidence. She only took a few bank statements, 2 or 3 pictures
and our joint car insurance. We had a TON more evidence. When i was showing her
everything, she just calmly said “ Its OK. Don’t worry. I believe you!” Soon after, she gave
us a letter saying she’s recommending us for approval. Told us to expect an approval letter
                     in 45 days!
02/13/2018 - Received case update: Interview Completed and Case has to be Reviewed for I-130 and I-
                     485. An hour later, received updated saying new card ordered!! =D
02/15/2018 - Received case update saying “Card was mailed to me!” (Day 205)

Guys, if you’re sick of waiting, hold on for a little longer. My EAD took a long long time. I was discouraged and felt powerless. USCIS just kept giving the usual responses (wait 30 days ..bla bla.) Somehow, with much prayer and after reaching out to my congressman, it came SUPER fast and i got my interview notice as well. Then everything has been smooth! So really, do your best, but don’t worry. It does take time, but it will come! Stay in there! Don't forget about your congressman or the ombudsman.

Feel free to ask me any questions. I will response to the best of my ability. =)
